Relationship centered, I enjoy working with adults, couples, and families. Sometimes it can be difficult to commit to change, or to seek help. It's my hope we'll form a trusted connection and working relationship and that you'll feel successful as you achieve the goal(s) you set for yourself in therapy. We'll celebrate the victories along the way, and move through any possible set-backs. I'm a fairly direct person, curious and independent minded, who values relationship, humor, forgiveness, compassion, and helping others. I've worked in community mental health, schools, and family court as a mediator, GAL, and Parent Coordinator. Preparation for marriage, relationship enrichment/disturbance, support for parents/step parents/caregivers, issues with communication, insecure attachment, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, self esteem, are areas of expertise. It's important to me that the therapeutic environment feels safe, relaxed, playful, and empathic. Sessions will focus on change, and on your short/long term goals. An active listener, I'll support you in building and strengthening your communication, focus, and core confidence, mapping your nexus for change.
