I work with individuals, couples and families helping them deal effectively with problems that arise through the course of their individual and family life cycle. These may include relationship problems, conflict among family members, challenges raising children, difficulties adjusting to different life stresses, anxiety and depression. I view psychotherapy as a process of exploration that leads to further understanding of oneself and others. Crises and life challenges offer opportunities for personal and relationship growth, as well as opportunities for making choices that lead to the improvement of the overall quality of our lives. By exploring our current relationship patterns and those from our family history and past relationships, we become aware of a variety of factors that influence our expectations and behavior. I engage in conversation, ask questions, and may suggest activities that lead to constructively viewing and working on the problems presented. I was born in Florida and lived in Argentina for many of my formative years. I have a degree in psychology from Buenos Aires. In Florida, I completed my graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy. I work comfortably in both English and Spanish, with people from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
