It is exciting and inspiring to work with people who want to make positive changes in their lives. I have partnered with individuals, couples and families to clarify problems, identify goals, and develop an increased sense of well-being in personal endeavors and in relationship experiences. I am interested in the unique stories of each individual and provide a safe and supportive counseling environment in which people can increase self-awareness, identify barriers in their lives, and discover flexible, compassionate approaches to meeting their needs. I have specialized training in emotionally focused couple's therapy which seeks to increase awareness of each person's experiences in the relationship and facilitate conversations about how to regain, maintain, and enhance connection between partners. I have worked with individuals experiencing a diverse range of concerns from anxiety and depression, chronic pain, difficulty with decision-making, past or current trauma, stress, and relational difficulties.
