I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, new to Anchor Counseling Center, with over five years of experience working with families in need in the state of Rhode Island. I have a wide array of experience, working with children, teenagers, adults and their families in a variety of settings including home-based, residential and outpatient. I have over 200 hours of training in crisis intervention, survivor advocacy, and trauma-based therapies. I specialize in treating individuals and their families struggling with primary and secondary trauma. I use a multifaceted approach to therapy to meet my clients where they are and to suit their individual needs, whether trauma is a main focus or not. I incorporate music, art, and other creative expressions into various modes of therapy, including CBT, trauma-focused CBT, and behavior modification. I highlight clients' strengths to drive treatment and achieve goals. I am accepting new clients at the Cranston and East Greenwich locations of Anchor Counseling Center.
