I work with children, adolescents and adults using primarily a client-centered approach. I specialize in Play Therapy with young children. Depending on client needs, we can work cognitively or in expressive arts modalities as well. I am also certified to provide Interactive Metronome Training (for ADD, learning and processing disorders, sensory integration, etc). Play Therapy offers children an opportunity to express themselves other than verbally. Young children often don't know how to, or don't want to, talk about things that don't feel good. Through play I am able to see how a child sees the world and help them return to healthy growth and development. I also work with parents to help them understand what their child or teenager needs from their environment to support their growth.
