My goal is to work with individuals and couples to help them find their center again. Therapy, for some, is most helpful during times of crisis when hope feels hard to find. For others, it can be helpful to explore phase-of-life issues, or to better understand life's purpose. I have clients that come for a few months to get their feet under them again and to feel centered to be able to tackle tough things in their life. For others, therapy is ongoing and can help clients navigate their own choices and understand their own feelings to make life feel more vibrant. In therapy, individuals and couples can learn and experience more emotional intimacy than they have ever felt before. Many people turn toward anything that will keep them from feeling hurt and sadness. Learning to process true feelings can bring a new peace and the opportunity for a more satisfying life. My approach includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment-based techniques for individuals and couples. My goal is to help you understand your feelings to better get your needs met around issues of belonging, connection and security. I specialize in couples counseling, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and trauma resilience.
