The relationship, connection, and trust between a client and therapist is the true measure of how helpful the counseling experience will be for an individual. In order to build that type of connection I approach each individual with an open-minded, supportive, and empathic style. I provide a counseling experience that allows a person to heal and grow in ways that allows them to recognize their own strengths, and how those strengths can assist them in working toward a more positive and rewarding future. I believe that there are many phases in a person's life when transitions become necessary, but are often difficult to make. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, families, and couples experiencing transitions. I have also worked with clients recovering from trauma, and early life abuse and neglect.
