I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with almost 11 years experience working in a variety of settings including hospital, residential and office. Much of my experience has been working with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, sexual abuse/trauma, ADHD, autism and LGBT issues. My therapeutic approach in treatment is eclectic and includes cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, and play therapy. I enjoy working with all ages, especially children & teenagers. In addition to individual work, I enjoy family therapy. As a therapist, I like to educate clients in efforts to improve self-awareness. I encourage a collaborative relationship as I believe it improves motivation and aids in reaching goals.
