Hello, I'm Dr. Jan Anderson. I like working with people on what matters most to them -- whether it's a relationship goal, a life transition or a change or mind, heart or lifestyle. Many of my clients benefit from a blend of evidence-based counseling and customized coaching. It gives them short-term results that motivate them to make longer-term, incremental changes. One of the things that's different about my approach is that in addition to fifteen years experience in counseling, I draw on my experience in the corporate business world and expertise in mindfulness-based therapies. I offer a complimentary preliminary telephone consultation. The investment of a few minutes of our time helps us determine if we are a good "fit" before scheduling an appointment. Many clients benefit from coming every 2-3 weeks for 90 minutes rather than a one-hour weekly session. I do not take insurance. Clients who want to use their insurance pay me full fee and I provide a statement they can submit for reimbursement at out-of-network rates. I accept HSA cards and FSA cards. My fee is $150 per hour with a 90 minute minimum.
