Gillian Boudreau is a licensed clinical psychologist at the doctorate level and holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. She is also a licensed school psychologist. Gillian has practiced in a variety of settings, from counseling centers to research hospitals to schools to psychiatric inpatient facilities. These experiences have provided her with a strong theoretical understanding of many challenges an individual may face, as well as a deep appreciation for and fascination with the richness of the human experience. Gillian seeks to help clients understand patterns that may not be serving them, and to hold a safe and empowering space for clients in which positive shifts can occur. Gillian is also a student and teacher of yoga and meditation and often weaves these practices into her work with clients. Gillian specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, ADHD and behavioral difficulties. She treats children, adolescents, adults and families. She has particular expertise in insight-oriented, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and systemic approaches to treatment including family therapy and play therapy.
