I work with adults, adolescents, and couples. My specialties include mood disorders and self-esteem building. Most of my clients are interested in insight oriented therapy and frequently are experiencing life transition issues such as divorce, young adult transition, midlife transition, remarriage, retirement, and late adult transition. I utilize an eclectic style of psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral, and insight oriented theory in facilitating clients to realize and create their life of choice. I have practiced for 20 years conducting individual and couples therapy along groups including self-esteem building for adolescent and adult women, relationship skills for adults of both genders, and process groups My dissertation was "Case study on Midlife Women Self Reporting Self-Esteem Difficulties.", September, 1998, Walden, University I opened Insight Therapy in January 2015, fulfilling a lifelong dream. It is conveniently located just off of 280 in Mountain Brook and provides the utmost in privacy and comfort for my clients. I am the owner and sole practitioner at Insight Therapy.
