Therapy, at its best, provides a foundation for growth and change. It can be a sanctuary where one finds the courage to experience and express deep feelings and important thoughts, to heal emotional and relational wounds, expand one's perspectives and sense of self, develop authenticity and meaning in life, and learn ways to support and help oneself that can be carried into the world. My intention is to offer this kind of sanctuary and experience to each client. The success of my own therapeutic journey informs and motivates my desire to help others along their life paths. I am honored to bring life experience, knowledge, empathy, and inspiration to the practice of psychotherapy. I have studied extensively in the arts & sciences, worked as an educator, and an artist in several genres. My devotion to lifelong learning currently includes study of emotionally focused couples therapy, highly sensitive persons, & dreams. Personal uniqueness, complexity, and diversity are respected through my use of integrative approaches adapted for individual needs. Clients' strengths, resources, and resilience are enlisted in collaboratively forming a therapeutic relationship and working toward goals. I welcome persons of all ages, cultures, and orientations to contact me for more information.
