Are you tired of finding yourself going to drugs or alcohol to cope with relationship struggles, work stress, or wounds from your past? Substance use is complicated because we not only struggle with the substance, but what is leads to using in the first place. I want to help, and believe that change and healing is possible. Together we will learn what healthy recovery is for you and solve the problems that have left you feeling discouraged, making the escape of alcohol or substance use attractive. Part of recovery is also finding the resources and insight into better self care through improved health practices and spirituality. I am experienced with clients who are utilizing medically-assisted therapy to aid their recovery and abstinence based recovery. I value your unique journey with recovery and I do not believe everyone's path to health and sobriety is identical. I hope to serve you by tailoring your counseling to meet your unique goals and needs including addressing underlying factors such as depression, anxiety, or trauma.
