At some point in our lives, we all face challenges that seem overwhelming. It is at these times that the act of courage can be to reach out and collaborate with another. As a counseling therapist, I will work with you to increase your awareness and understanding and help you foster a process of change with the goal of increased life satisfaction, meaning, and purpose. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, post trauma symptoms or other personal challenges, I can help you define and set off on a path of symptom reduction and problem solving. I work with a broad spectrum of experiences from severe mental health disorders to life stress and transition. I specialize in anxiety disorders including acute and post trauma therapy. I am trained cognitive behavioral therapy and am a certified therapist in EMDR, both are evidence-base treatment modalities. I offer a calm, safe and non-judgmental environment in the North Tahoe area. I take special care to maintain all aspects of your confidentiality.
