I completed my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Francis and am a National Certified Addictions Counselor. My past experience has been 15 years in the child welfare field working with families, children, and adolescents both in and out of the home. Since 2013, I have been working in private practice with both individuals and families along with conducting court ordered substance abuse groups. My specialties include treatment of families, adults and children along with addictions and abuse/trauma. I have received training and certifications in treatments for trauma, attachment issues and addictions. Therapy is provided from a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive-behavioral, solution focused brief therapy, family systems, and positive psychology. I take an integrative approach to mental health care, which is a way of seeing, understanding and responding to challenges. It is a total person approach that includes all aspects and layers of a person's life. How the mind, body and spirit are interconnected are explored with the client.
