I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in needs that challenge children, teens, and families including: spiritual needs, ethical dilemmas, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger management, trauma, and transition from justice settings back into the community. I am nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) which is used to assist clients with overcoming trauma related grief and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My focus is to assist children, adolescents, and adults with reaching their life goals and full potential through short term solution focused and cognitive behavior therapy. My compassion for helping others has led to careers in activity therapy, case management, and juvenile justice counseling and management. My background as a director of treatment and counselor in juvenile justice programs has allowed me to specialize in needs that challenge teens and families who struggle with legal concerns. I seek to counsel clients with a spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and discretion.
