I have over twenty years experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. I provide individual, couples, family and group therapy to people seeking to improve their way of life and resolve issues that bring them difficulty. I incorporate a variety of modalities to address issues, and believe that therapy is relationship based and the client must actively participate in the process to effect change. I enjoy working with children and adolescents to assist them in obtaining positive coping skills and overcoming difficulties. I assist individuals, couples, and families in bettering their relationships and living fully in the moment. . I specialize in trauma, relationship issues, mood disorders, and communication skills. I have experience in play therapy techniques, mindfulness training, and cognitive behavioral approaches to implementing change. I enjoy working with a variety of clients, and seek to assist each individual in achieving their goals. I utilize a number of techniques, and have added animal assisted therapy to my skills. I utilize the support of my therapy dog, and have the opportunity to use equine assisted therapy techniques, and have been amazed at the unique, experiential addition that horses bring to the healing process.
