I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). I specialize in working with children and teens around issues including trauma/abuse, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and coping with life stressors. I also enjoy my work with adults, which I view as a collaborative process in identifying and exploring thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that are no longer serving a healthy purpose, and then working towards change. Although I am trained as an art therapist, I am also skilled in talk therapy and my approach depends on what is best for the client. I have extensive experience in working with children/teens who have experienced abuse and trauma, as well as adults who are ready to address their own childhood abuse. I truly enjoy helping people along their path of healing and being a witness to the transformation that occurs. As an art therapist, I believe that the creative process improves emotional well-being, and promotes health and healing.
