Jodie works with clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, self image issues, eating and weight concerns, family difficulties, assertiveness, lack of confidence issues, spiritual abuse, sexual abuse, and pre-natal and postpartum concerns, as well as trauma and PTSD. There is a personal and relational focus to Jodie's counseling style. An importance placed on body awareness, attachment and connection with an empahsis on non judgmental acceptance. Jodie also provides counseling based sexual education, and specializes in sexual frustration/dissatisfaction, sexual pain, dysfunction and disorders. In her practice, you can expect a counselor who is willing to help normalize sexuality and to promote accurate and helpful sexual education. Jodie places a high level of importance on collaborative care with those she works with. Jodie has a rich collaborative network of physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, physicians, and Naturopathic medicine professionals that she works with to help support each client in their own path to wholeness.
