I believe that people do the best they can with what they have. No one wants to be unhappy, in a bad relationship or depressed. I view therapy as a team effort between client and counselor. We work on learning new communication skills, changing negative thought patterns and establishing healthier habits. I have a general practice and work with a variety of clientele. I have experience with life transitions, self-esteem issues, school-related issues, depression, cancer, loss and grief. I also have an extensive background in the field of disabilities. I take Oregon Health Plan and Medicaid and offer a sliding scale from $40-$25.. My office is located in southeast Portland.
