My experience is in areas of intensive counseling (domestic violence, sexual abuse, PTSD, In-Home services, etc.) I have brought that knowledge back to my Family Practice to provide more focused care for the individuals learning to cope with more severe issues. My practice holds sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups in the psycho-educational, psycho-therapeutic, mental health, and career counseling settings. I worked along side nationally acclaimed psychiatrist, psychologist, medical staff, and therapists from other fields during my School & Professional Internships in Texas, where I acquired a strong understanding of psychotropic medications/therapies in team treatment settings. My experience branches a wide range including domestic violence victims (child, adolescents, and adults), domestic violence abusers (child, adolescents, and adults), geriatric psychotherapy, family conflict, foster placement, CPS/court mandated, family therapy, chronic mental illness, chronic pain, PTSD, trauma, grief, and life coaching. Healing Connections holds a unique approach to the entire client as well as their mental and physical well being. The philosophy encompasses to bring one's Mind, Body, and Spirit in balance with each another through massage therapy, acupuncture, reflexology, yoga, hypnotherapy, spiritual therapy, mental health counseling, and life coaching.
