This practice is offered to individuals, couples and families throughout the lifespan. The approach is integrative, with significant attention given to the physical components of mental/emotional health. This method is especially appropriate for clients' physical symptoms that have psychological/emotional roots and for those with physical conditions like age, illness and injury, who are noticing mental/emotional repercussions. I try to help clients root out the causes of suffering, alleviate pain and tolerate what remains. My approach is client centered and solution focused. I teach anatomy, physiology, meditation and mindfulness and encourage creativity, joy and ease. I have significant experience working with pregnant and postpartum women, mood disorders and anxiety, TBI, cancer diagnoses and treatment, and, with people recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Whether new to yoga or an experienced practitioner - you will find here the ability to use your body to help bring calmness and clarity to your thoughts and emotions.
