My approach to therapy is one that is collaborative in nature, client-driven, and specifically suited to fit each individual's needs. I have helped clients deal with issues ranging from the treatment and maintenance of severe mental illness, to working with clients who simply wish to improve their day to day lives. My therapeutic style can help couples regain their intimacy and compassion for one another, help parents deal with children who are having behavior problems, assist individuals in difficult transitions or assessing the areas in their lives that need re-adjustment, and much more. My main areas of specialty include the treatment of anxiety and depression, stress management, anger management, marital/couples counseling, and family therapy. I also work with adolescents (age 11 and up) and parents in order to maintain or regain family cohesiveness. I offer a wide range of treatment modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, stress-reduction and relaxation techniques and training, psychological diagnosis and assessment, and career counseling.
