Entering psychotherapy doesn't need to be intimidating or scary! It does require a trusting and open relationship. I use my own experiences and education along with everything you bring to sessions to create a trusting,engaging and warm environment. I specialize in dynamics related to child sexual abuse and trauma, family issues, struggles with transitions, depression and anxiety, difficulty with anger management, coping skills, low self-esteem, social skills deficits, relationship problems, and other general family concerns. I enjoy meeting with entire families when appropriate. I believe you have a story to tell and I want to hear it! I conduct Psycho-Educational Evaluations to assess for potential learning disabilities, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, or other factors affecting school performance and achievement. I am available for in-school observations if permitted and will work closely with schools to ensure recommendations are clearly communicated. Evaluations are for 1st graders through 12th. Occasional presentations and lectures on topics such as Talking to Children about Sexual Abuse, available to work with school personnel and others, both individual and family therapy. I am an experienced supervisor as well with a very positive track record and history.
