As a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, I utilize an individualized therapeutic approach unique to each individual's needs. I want to clients improve their quality of life by finding meaning and purpose, confidence, self-esteem, improved interpersonal relationships, and hope. I work with males and females, adults and adolescents. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and have treated eating disorders for 20 plus years in a variety of settings. Other areas of focus include depression, panic and anxiety, grief, self-esteem, trauma, and improving coping skills. I enjoy working with clients who want to enhance their quality of life. I use multiple treatment modalities that enable each client to move through life's many challenges and transitions. I hold a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist designation through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. This requires extensive experience, education, and compliance with high ethical standards. As both a psychiatric nurse and a therapist, I am uniquely situated to work collaboratively with psychologists, psychiatrists, other medical doctors etc for your benefit. My treatment philosophy is to really listen and understand how each individual feels and offer a collaborative approach to treatment.
