As a mature professional, with many years of practice and supervising others in diverse settings, I deeply understand the myriad types of dilemmas that can strike us as we continue to carry on our lives. Because emotional difficulties that befall us are not as visible as physical ones does not mean they are any less painful. I'm aware that we often need help in overcoming or at least in having them not interfere with our functioning and ability to find contentment in our lives. I am an eclectic therapist who provides a supportive setting in which clients may find comfort while doing the often difficult work of exploring our current life or history.At one time I was a Child & Adolescent specialist ; since 1991 my private practice has included children, adults couples & families. Before engaging in therapy I offer an evaluation period through which we can begin discovering factors contributing to your difficulties and concerns. These may have sometimes resulted from an uncomplicated life change or elements of your history distorting your ability or find satisfying relationships, contentment or ability to have more control over our lives.
