Tired of feeling anxious/stressed, depressed, and lost? You're not alone. I offer individual and/or couples sessions. If you are open to other possibilities in life and are invested in the growth process, change can occur. My counseling philosophy is centered around the belief that everyone has the potential to learn and grow. I come from a long history of educators and that is where my strengths are as a counselor. I am of the "Growth Mindset" and believe life to be a journey and one worth experiencing fully and joyfully. I have education & training, practical experience, and a true passion in the areas of eating issues, anxiety/depression, GLBT-related issues, sexuality, relationships, and life transitions. I tend to focus on the mind-body experience and guide clients to accept and embrace their being: the whole self. I have experience working with many different individuals and cultural groups. I have had the pleasure of working with people with varying spiritual beliefs, sexual orientations, mental health disorders, relationship challenges, food and eating difficulties, stress and anxiety related life situations, grief, trauma, and familial conflicts.
