Michael Brooke facilitates social skills groups for teens and young adults (ages 11-35) who are socially awkward, have ADHD, Asperger's Disorder, high functioning autism, or who have a non-verbal learning disability. These are 8-10 week groups that help participants fit in with peers, make friends, and avoid being bullied. Groups run throughout the year at the Portland and Vancouver office. Dr. Brooke also offers therapy for adults who are on the spectrum. Here's what people are saying about Dr. Brooke's groups: "Now, I like socializing and learning about others." Sam 17-year-old-teen "I worried the group would be a waste of time for my child, but it has been very positive. I feel that he's learning a ton and it's NOT a waste of time in the least." -Deborah, mother of a 14-year-old teen. "When I considered having Jennifer attend, I worried that she might experience herself as somehow "defective" but she actually seems to like coming! I would recommend the group. It seems to address teens' issues in a respectful way with very specific tools." -Tammie, mother of an 18-year-old teen
