Counseling seems like a strange thing. You are supposed to tell a stranger all the intimate details about yourself and focus on the worst parts of your life - and pay for it! It sounds horrible, but counseling can be a wonderful and transformational experience in someone's life. Having healthy conversation with someone who is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and trained to help can really help you take the steps you have always wanted. I would love to see if this strange thing can transform your life. I focus on working with couples, adolescents, and people who struggle with depression, anxiety, or trauma. I use EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to help people get past troubling memories. I work often with couples and offer marriage retreats as well. Prior to working as counselor I was a Pastor and have my MDiv (Masters of Divinity) from Phoenix Seminary. I enjoy working with anyone and do not push spirituality, but if you are looking for christian counseling I have specific experience and education in blending counseling with faith.
