If you are struggling with the impact of Postpartum Anxiety/Depression, grief/loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, illness, chronic pain, or other major life transitions such as divorce, parenting/step parenting, becoming a new parent, a therapist can help. I offer supportive counseling that builds on your strengths, encourages growth, and teaches coping strategies. Finding solutions through self discovery in a safe and supportive environment along with respect are the foundations that I know help clients make positive changes. I offer mutual respect and collaboration to my clients which are essential for emotional growth and well being. I have an empathic and nonjudgmental counseling approach. In addition to my education and experience, I have additional experience as a hospice volunteer and bereavement group facilitator which has influenced my belief that healing and growth are possible when respect, support, hope, and information are present. The clients I've had the privilege to work with have taught me we all have the wisdom we need to heal. I use therapeutic approaches that help clients discover this inner wisdom by using mindfulness, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and guided imagery.
