For the last 20 years of my 34 years in practice, I have had a special interest and focus on conflict management. I have worked closely with colleagues in the private sector and the courts to develop programs and relationships that effectively assist those having difficulty managing their behavior in their interactions with others. Out of this has come my current clinical focus on couple treatment and anger management, and my commitment to change-oriented treatment techniques associated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My approach is low on pretense; high on listening, feedback and direction. I have worked extensively with women and men in helping to manage work / family balance, the challenges presented by advancement, and developing effective workplace behavior. A general focus on men's issues in relationships at work and home has been part of my practice throughout my career.
