Forward Strides Counseling LLC focuses on adolescent and adult therapy offered either in the office or through equine assisted psychotherapy. Group or individual counselng is available to those needing help with issues such as depression, grief/loss, divorce, chronic illness, ADHD, and school or family problems. I am also a certified sport consultant through ABSP and can assist athletes struggling with performance issues. I specialize in using horses through equine assisted psychotherapy. As an EAGALA certified therapist, both group and individual counseling is available at the barn located in Alpharetta.. My practice offers educational consulting for those having difficulty with navigating the rigors of the public school system for their child with disabilities. As a School Psychologist and Counselor in the public schools for over 20 years, I have extensive experience with student assessment, consultation, the RTI process and IEPs.
