I have been working with families in pain for 25 years, I was a counselor/therapist at a residential drug and alcohol program for 20 years, addressing, specifically,the pain suffered by the clients and their families. I was able to provide strategies and coping skills that resulted in successful resolutions for these families. I have earned my graduate degree in psychology and in 1983 started my private practice, specializing in Marriage and Family therapy.I have learned a number of different approaches to treating marital and family issues and can provide the best treatment for the individual patient. Since my initial focus on substance abuse my currant approach is to assist couples and families to achieve resolution in a spectrum of family problems including, loss, grief, domestic abuse, infidelity, generational issues,addictive behaviors and general family dysfunction.
