Clients seeking treatment with me, typically are finding that their coping skills which have previously worked for them, are not working anymore. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help them regain resilience and strength, which may have been lost during challenging and trying times as well as during major life transitions. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, divorcing families, and grief and loss. As a service to my clients, my office will handle insurance billing for you. Privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance to me. Therapy takes place in a quiet, safe, and peaceful environment. I have specialized in the treatment of eating disorders for over 20 years and work from a "non-diet" approach to treatment. I conduct psychosocial evaluations for individuals undergoing surgery for weight loss. I work with families going through divorce, strengthening communication and co-parenting concerns through Collaborative Divorce. Although I have extensive training and education in Humanistic Psychotherapy and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches to mental health treament, Another important approach to therapy comes from a wellness-based model of health. I work toward integrating one's mind, body, and spirit into daily life for greater happiness and fulfillment.
