I am a psychiatrist who has received training at Yale University, the National Institute of Mental Health, and the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. I practice psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Individuals who will benefit from such treatment include those suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship problems, self-esteem problems, chronic unhappiness, or problems in work or love. Psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy are the type of psychotherapies that promote the most personal growth and help people realize their full potential. Medication may be prescribed when indicated. I specialize in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Individuals engaged in 1) psychotherapy come for 45 minutes 1 - 3 times per week, or 2) psychoanalysis come 4 times per week and use the couch. Individuals best suited for these types of therapies are motivated to understand their present difficulties in terms of their past relationships. Some individuals require a combination of psychoanalysis and medications. I am an expert in medication treatment.
