Most physical injuries heal and become painless in time. Emotional scars, on the other hand, can run deep and continue to show up in ways you cannot understand and are not prepared to handle. Depression, worry, fatigue, anxiety, relationship issues, and addiction are just some of the many ways deep hurts can continue to haunt you. In some cases, the fallout can be life-altering and debilitating. Like anything worthwhile, it can be a complicated and difficult process to figure it all out. My approach to counseling does not rely on any one "model" or a simple textbook formula. I will listen carefully, assess your individual needs, and draw from several approaches and theories depending on your personality and needs. As we partner together to explore your unique circumstances, I will help you find answers and tools that will enable you to overcome obstacles and live your full potential. I have over 20 years experience providing therapy with special experience in addictions, marriage, abuse recovery, and Christian counseling. It is a tremendous privilege for me to help people find healing. My greatest joy is in experiencing the relationship we will form and witnessing the positive life changes as we work together.
