Therapy has saved me many times in my life. Whether I felt like I was emotionally distraught, stuck, or relationally lost, I knew I was in need. So I view therapy as sacred space, realizing the courage it takes to enter into the disappointment, loss, fear, and relational brokenness of your story. Therapy can be hard work because it's about making changes in the way you live life and relate to yourself and those around you. My perspective isn't how can I cure or change you, but how I can help provide a relational experience that can be used for growth. I love working with either men or women in their 20-30's who are figuring out life, individuals at the crossroads of midlife or retirement, and seniors facing the unique challenges of that phase of life. I also have extensive experience working with eating disorders, unwanted same sex attraction, and struggling couples. As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I work with team of dedicated therapists who each specialize in different issues. This team approach allows me to bring a much broader expertise than just my own to your counseling experience and provide coordinated treatment and referrals for families or couples.
