In my 30 years of experience I have found that it takes courage to seek and enter counseling, no matter how old you are. Although the decision may be precipitated by stress or a crisis, the situation can often provide the motivation and energy needed to make helpful changes. I view each individual in connection with the people and experiences from their world. Counseling is a nurturing and supportive partnership that draws upon your internal strengths and social supports, instills hope and provides you with skills to confidently take on the challenges you face.
