The problems which arise for children shouldn't get in the way of childhood. As a school counselor (as you can see from my profile picture!) for the past 9 years and while working with children for the past 23 years, I have been a part of helping kids in all sorts of situations and with many different issues. This has given me a profound respect for the impact counseling can make on all involved, whether we start in childhood or later. My job is to be a partner with you and your child in helping each to learn how to cope with whatever life presents. Throughout my experience, I've learned that no matter what the situation, it's nice to know there's someone ready to help. I have evening and weekend hours available.
