I have been a marriage and family therapist for over 15 years. I have worked with mental health issues as well as family and marriage issues throughout that time. I have been in private practice for the past 10 years and thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and the clients that I work with. I work well with clients from all walks of life and experiences. I am very comfortable working with victims of trauma and abuse, as well as with personality disorders and other mental illnesses. I also enjoy helping couples work through adjustment in marriage, divorce, or blended families. I grew up in Ohio, went to college in Utah, and received my master's degree in Philadelphia. I worked on the state Crisis Team and was the one who committed people to the psych hospital, so I don't get nervous when people talk about suicidal thoughts or feelings.
