I view therapy as an opportunity for the exploration of oneself, one's relationships, and one's experiences in the world. I will provide you with an environment dedicated to increasing your understanding of yourself and your situation, and we will work together toward your development of new skills to accomplish your goals. My work is guided by therapeutic techniques drawn from psychodynamic principles, attachment theory, relational theory, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In addition, I believe that our work must occur in a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, and safety. I have experience with diverse cultural backgrounds facing a wide range of difficulties. Through patience, a non-judgmental attitude, and warmth, I will provide you with the opportunity to practice and develop new ways of approaching those issues that are causing you distress.
