I have a Masters in Social Work and a Ph.D in Counseling, I was trained in New York City, and have over 15 years of experience working with adults and adolescents to overcome obstacles and improve the quality of their lives through clinical therapy. I have worked in psychiatric facilities, hospital and outpatient clinic settings. I am a bilingual latino and offer a unique perspective to the hispanic GLBT community. I enjoy using therapeutic writing techniques and journaling in my practice and always encourage clients regarding the benefits of putting thoughts down on paper as a way to re-story their lives.
