I have spent most of my career working with adolescents and consider this to be a speciality of mine. However, I also love working with adults and children. In addition to being a therapist, I am a yoga teacher and enjoy teaching relaxation techniques, specifically to treat anxiety and emotion regulation. I have worked with teenagers since 1998. I have been treating adolescent substance abuse and dual diagnoses since 2007, in an outpatient setting. I have some experience teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy and have a special interest in utilizing mindfulness skills for emotion regulation, managing cravings, and managing effects of trauma. I teach meditation techniques and mindfulness skills. I often, with informed consent, incorporate yoga exercises into the therapy setting.
