The times we live in present great challenges. Physically, emotionally, financially, socially and spiritually we are stretched to the breaking point. I work with clients who need someone to listen and help them find reasonalble solutions to the stresses of everyday life. I'm a licensed Clinical Social Worker and am familiar with the psychological principles of counseling. I'm also a Christian Counselor. I use Biblical principles in my counseling and my practice reflects strict standards of morality, ethics and competency. I believe in treating the whole person, sometimes the whole family. I work with individuals, couples and groups. I believe that talking heals. I believe we don't get healed in a vacuum; we need someone to hear us and offer wisdom and compassion. The more hurt a person is, the deeper the pain, the more the need for competent help. Keeping secrets makes us sick. I specialize in groups. I run groups for couples on improving their marriages, groups for those suffering with anxiety and depression and groups for women who have been victims of childhood abuse. Traumatic memories don't die over time, rather they are buried alive and do much damage if left untreated
