Therese has earned a BA degree from Villanova University and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University. Therese has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She is also trained as a Sexual Assault Counselor. Therese has provided counseling to individuals and families focusing on issues such as; anger management, social and communication skills, behavioral disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions, and parenting skills. She has worked in a variety of settings such as school-based services, residential treatment centers, outpatient offices, and in-home services. Therese believes that through creating a safe environment, the therapeutic process can serve as a guiding tool to help persons feel more satisfied in their daily lives. Therese places value on individualizing treatment to meet each client's specific needs and working with them to reach their goals and make positive changes in their lives. She uses approaches such as Solution-Focused/Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Mindful Therapy.
