I am a LICSW with over ten years experience in the mental health field. I have provided clinical services to children and adolescents in home based as well as private practice settings. I have also worked as a school social worker for a number of years. I also treat adults with an array of mental health issues including problems with addiction. Prior to joining Anchor Counseling I was a clinical supervisor for the Family Care Community Partnership. The FCCP works in conjunction with The RI Department of Children, Youth, and Families facilitating wraparound services to families in RI. I consider myself a client-centered therapist and create a therapeutic environment that is comfortable, non-judgmental, and empathetic. I believe in the value of the therapeutic relationship. I treat clients with ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, depression, anxiety, PTSD, social anxiety and anger management problems. In addition I treat clients struggling with addiction. My practice has evening appointments available. We also have a psychiatrist on staff if medications are warranted throughout your treatment. I currently see clients in our East Providence location.
