I am an experienced, licensed clinical psychologist, certified psychoanalyst, and licensed marriage and family therapist, providing diagnosis and treatment to adolescents, adults and couples. In addition my to training in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, I have extensive experience in working with couples in relational-centered therapy, adult ADHD, and addictions. For 25 years I have helped individuals and couples lead more satisfying and fulfilling lives. Seeking therapy is often a difficult decision, but it can be one of the most important emotional investments you make. It is never too late to learn new skills and resolve your past, enabeling you to take charge of your life. People seek therapy for a variety of reasons: some experiencing a specific crisis or challenge in their lives; some finding themselves dealing repeatedly with the same issues, conflicts, or fears; others wanting to address personal growth issues in order to gain a better understanding of themselves and their internal lives. Successful therapy depends upon collaborating together to understand the major issues. Sometimes the focus is past memories, fears, and wishes. Other times, current circumstances and relationships might be the focus. My role is to help my clients resolve problems interfering with their lives, clarify issues and discover better coping strategies.
