I believe that people possess a deep and profound ability to overcome obstacles when provided with a supportive environment. I enjoy finding creative ways to reframe difficulties so individuals can access solutions that fit their lives. This often involves working with parents, families or other supportive communities so that deep and meaningful change can occur. I am a Registered Play Therapist and have focused much of my work on the profound impact that play and other means of creative expression can make on the lives of all people. As my career has progressed I have become increasingly interested in work with adolescents, adults and families, and see collaboration with parents/significant others as an essential component to support the people with whom I work. I believe that interaction with those closest to my patients creates deep meaningful change.
