Michelle received her B.A. in Psychology and her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in Orlando, Florida. She has been trained play therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses these methodologies to treat a variety of presenting concerns, when appropriate. Michelle is a bilingual therapist who have worked with various populations and continue to challenge myself in order to achieve this goal. In addition I have completed EMDR therapy training specific to children and adults with special needs. Conducting group and coordinating assessment sessions in a children outpatient setting, maintain detailed documentation on client progress, counsel and support to caseload of assigned client, assess a client mental status and determine diagnostic impressions; also determines appropriate treatment/service needs.
