As a licensed psychologist I have over 20 years working with couples, families, children, adolesents and individuals. I specialize in anxiety disorders, depression and trauma. I furthermore have extensive experience working with chronic illnesses including MS, Lupus, Fibromyalgia,, COPD, diabetes and Lyme's disease. I love working with couples, with complex issues, and working with individuals of diverse culural backgrounds. My work is client centered with a focus on the client's strengths and competencies in the world. My approach is creative and intuitive, with a strong foundation in scientific theory. My approach is holistic in nature, working effectively with body workers, alternative practitioners, psychiatrists and professionals in other disciplines. My expertise encompasses working with clients with chronic illnesses. When appropriate I utilize mindfulness approaches to provide management of symptoms. I furthermore, have expertise in hypnosis, EMDR and somatic experience modalities.
